On Saturday, September 15, Microsoft reissued Intel microcode updates for all versions of Windows 10, including the latest April 2018 Update, also known as Redstone 4 or build 1803. The re-released updates added support for more processors and fixed some bugs.
Users of Windows 10 April 2018 Update have received the update KB4100347, which, however, does not appear on devices with already fixed vulnerabilities. According to the Microsoft support page,support for Broadwell Server E, EP, EP4S, Broadwell Server EX, Skylake Server SP (H0, M0, U0), Skylake D (Bakerville) and Skylake X (Basin Falls) was added to the update.
Users of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update have received the update KB4090007, and users of Windows 10 Creators Update – KB4091663. Those who are still working with Windows 10 Anniversary Update, got KB4091663, and with the original version of Windows 10 – KB4091664. Please note that some devices have already received these updates earlier this year, so the second time they will not appear.
The latest patches can also be installed via Windows Update (Settings> Upgrade and Security> Windows Update> Search for Updates).
